POLICIES + ACCESSIBILITY

My locations and hours of operation

I practice at Movement Infinity Movement (5957 Verdun street, MTL, QC) and in Hudson, QC. Please visit the “Contact” page in the menu above or scroll to the end of this page to book an appointment. Please note that I only practice on weekdays.

In Montreal

The space is intentionally accessible to folks with mobility restrictions. The office is on the ground floor and the bathrooms are accessible for all folks, though they are at the end of a hallway. These are the parameters of the table I work with.

There is a reserved parking spot in front of the building for those with a reduced mobility parking signet.

One of my favorite parts of Infinity is the music and the vibe. However, some folks are noise sensitive! Please note that appointments starting at 7:45 a.m. and at 12:15 p.m. may be louder due to classes occurring outside the session space. Within the room, there is gentle music and two fans which create white noise.

I use organic soap, unscented soap to wash the cotton and flannel sheets. There is no use of a diffuser or other scented product.

In Hudson

There is one step to the door, so if you are coming in a mobility device, I would need a heads up to set up a makeshift ramp. The bathroom is not accessible via mobility device and does not have a side ramp to pull up from.

These are the approximate parameters of my table, as it was purchased 12 years ago.

There is parking available in the parking lot in front of the garage or on the street.

I usually play gentle music, but there are not other noise issues at this location.

There can be some scent left over from the fireplace and I sometimes use scented candles. I use unscented soap to wash my cotton and flannel sheets.

Commitment to accessibility, sustainability and community

Cancellations and reduced rate sessions

Reduced rate sessions

I offer two sessions at a reduced rate (65$) per week for those who self-identify as being in a lower income bracket.

Cancelling or rescheduling your appointment

Sessions can be rescheduled no later than 24 hours before your appointment time. Cancellations or reschedules within less than 24 hours may result in a booking fine at the following session. I reserve the right to refuse osteopathic sessions to any individual that repeatedly cancels less than 24 hours before the session.

Concerns

If you have any questions about your osteopathy session after the fact, please feel free to call me to discuss (please note: these calls are limited to 15 minutes).

If you are running late, or don’t show up at all…

I reserve the right to refuse an osteopathic treatment if the client is more than 20 minutes late, as I am often booked afterwards and want to respect other clients’ schedules. 40 minutes is also too short a time period for me to offer quality care. No shows will be requested to pay the booking fine at their next appointment.

If you’re not happy with your osteopathy session

I’m sorry to hear that! I make every effort to meet your particular needs, but I understand sometimes people don’t click. I’d love to recommend a colleague that might suit your needs better if you would like. I encourage  you to read through my website in advance to get a sense of my values.

Confidentiality

Anything  that is discussed during our session will stay between you and me, and  so will your contact information. The only time information is shared is  when clients voluntarily provide testimonials, always with explicit permission.
