POLICIES
My locations and hours of operation
I practice at 5165 Sherbrooke W, MTL, QC. Please visit the “Contact” page in the menu above or scroll to the end of this page to book an appointment. Please note that I only practice on weekdays.
There is an elevator on the ground floor of the building and bathrooms appropriate and accessible for all folks on that level as well.
For those with mobility restrictions, note that there is a delivery parking spot behind the building for those travelling via paratransit and a ramp. As of 3:30 pm, there is one parking spot available (spots 23, 24 or 25).
I use organic soap to wash the sheets.
Commitment to accessibility, sustainability and community
Home appointments, cancellations and reduced rate sessions
Postpartum appointments
I accept one home visit per week for postpartum and new families (0-3 years). These sessions last approximately 1 hour and there is a travel fee based on distance from my clinic in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce.
Reduced rate sessions
I offer two sessions at a reduced rate (65$) per week for those who self-identify as being in a lower income bracket. Please send me a direct request for an appointment, no questions asked.
Cancelling or rescheduling your appointment
Sessions can be rescheduled no later than 24 hours before your appointment time. Cancellations or reschedules within less than 24 hours may result in a booking fine at the following session. I reserve the right to refuse osteopathic sessions to any individual that repeatedly cancels less than 24 hours before the session.
Concerns
If you have any questions about your osteopathy session after the fact, please feel free to call me to discuss (please note: these calls are limited to 15 minutes).
If you are running late, or don’t show up at all…
I reserve the right to refuse an osteopathic treatment if the client is more than 20 minutes late, as I am often booked afterwards and want to respect other clients’ schedules. 40 minutes is also too short a time period for me to offer quality care. No shows will be requested to pay the booking fine at their next appointment.
If you’re not happy with your osteopathy session
I’m sorry to hear that! I make every effort to meet your particular needs, but I understand sometimes people don’t click. I’d love to recommend a colleague that might suit your needs better if you would like. I encourage you to read through my website in advance to get a sense of my values.
Confidentiality
Anything that is discussed during our session will stay between you and me, and so will your contact information. The only time information is shared is when clients voluntarily provide testimonials, always with explicit permission.
